Ghogha is one of the oldest shwetamber jain pilgrimage places situated 20km from Bhavnagar in the Khambhat bay Saurashtra.The magnificent idol of shree Lord Parshwanath stands at 91cm showcasing the splendour of its times. In olden days it was one of the busy business hub in the Arabian Sea so many Jains were settled in this region. 5. According to the historian, Muslim ruler Horro invaded India and destroyed many temples. He ordered the idol to be broken into 9 pieces and threw all the pieces into a well in Bapesar in the village Vadva near Bhavnagar.
